The Troglodytes

Some few adventurers who have searched the catacombs beneath the city and come across creatures they describe as a large upright lizard. One even managed to bring back a body of one with him from his spelunking. This was examined by the Guild of Arcane and Alchemical Studies and was compared to preserved specimens of lizard men taken before their extinction in Neridia. The creatures were not the same.

This new creature has been dubbed a troglodyte, which means cave-dwelling lizard. Little is known about these creatures but rumor has it they do share the lizard man’s classic sensitivity to cold and additionally have a sensitivity to heat as well. The Guild of Arcane and Alchemical Studies has posted a reward for bringing back lives specimens for them to study.
